Currently evaluating venture capital proposals for Internet startups to add to our portfolio.  All possibilities for startup and early stage Internet companies will be considered with the following primary requirements:  (1) viable revenue/profit business model, (2) substantial ROI, (3) rapid economic break-even and payback, (4) rapid time to market.

Internet Star Corporation provides more than funding; it provides complete e-commerce development lifecycle support from conceptualization and design to implementation and operations.  It will seek an active role by facilitating the operations with possible turnkey solutions, including the complete e-commerce site and server operations.  It has experience implementing business concepts that can be delivered to market rapidly and are profitable relatively quickly, if not instantly.

Internet Star Corporation subscribes to the principles of rapid ROI/rapid time to market.  Successful experience has shown that this is entirely possible and the company specializes in business concepts with sellable products and services that can make a profit quickly.  

Rapid ROI Model

The focus is on e-commerce operations with a business model that makes money on the world wide web.  Software development is also a candidate, as it relates to Internet applications, and has different ROI expectations than the standard e-commerce project; this will need to be discussed with Internet Star Corporation.

All industries will be considered without prejudice.  Bottom line results are the first and final determinant for selection.  We have implemented e-commerce in consumer finance, corporate finance, automotive, education, apparel, consumer goods, marketing and entertainment.

Test Market

A selected project needs to prove rapid ROI potential with substantial payback during the test market or it will be summarily aborted.

Available Funding

The budget will vary depending completely on the project requirements.  Most e-commerce projects can be funded within $500,000 and a vast majority for considerably less.  Please observe we run a very tight and lean operation and our rapid ROI expectations preclude discretionary budgets.  The go-or-no-go decision is made very early in the project, and the company is not hesitant to sacrifice its investment early to avoid longer-term uncertainty.

Current Hot Project

Real Estate: Beverly Hills-Malibu-Palos Verdes.  This is our entry into the real estate industry.  We are using an Internet and technology approach.  At first, the effort is to gain an understanding of the industry by offering traditional real estate services with technology in a supporting capacity to provide maximum service for clientele.  As we mature, we intend to seek opportunities to revise -- and optimize --- the business model to benefit real estate clients.

Real Estate: FindHomesOnTheWeb.  Same project as above paragraph.  Whereas that other website focuses on high-end, luxury real estate, this is more inclusive with the eventual goal of providing services to homebuyers and homeowner/sellers of all markets.  We will start locally and build beyond the South Bay/Torrance real estate markets.
